At Cotlin, we are committed to quality without compromise. Whether you are using our appliances in a comfortable home kitchen or a demanding commercial environment, we stand behind our products.

1. Warranty Period

Cotlin offers a 1-Year Limited Warranty on all ice makers and appliances purchased directly from cotlinlife.com or an authorized retailer.

  • Coverage: 12 months from the original date of purchase.

  • Applicability: This warranty applies to both Residential and Commercial use.

  • Transferability: This warranty is valid for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

2. What Is Covered?

We warrant that your Cotlin product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. If a defect arises within the warranty period, we will, at our option:

  • Provide new or refurbished replacement parts at no cost.

  • Exchange the defective unit with a new or refurbished unit of equivalent performance.

  • Provide a refund if a replacement is not available or feasible.

3. What Is NOT Covered (Exclusions)

To ensure the longevity of your machine, please follow the user manual. This warranty does not cover:

  • Improper Installation: Issues caused by incorrect water line connections, insufficient ventilation, or voltage errors.

  • Lack of Maintenance: Failure to perform regular cleaning (e.g., damage caused by scale/mineral buildup due to hard water).

  • Misuse & Abuse: Physical damage, neglect, or operation inconsistent with the product's instructions.

  • Unauthorized Repair: Modifications or repairs performed by unauthorized service providers.

  • Cosmetic Damage: Scratches, dents, or normal wear and tear that do not affect functionality.

  • Consumable Parts: Items such as water filters, unless defective upon arrival.

4. How to Claim Warranty

We aim to make the process simple and fast.

  • Step 1: Contact us at support@cotlinlife.com .

  • Step 2: Provide your Order Number and the Serial Number (found on the back of the machine).

  • Step 3: Send us photos or a short video showing the issue/error code.

Our technical team will troubleshoot with you. If the issue cannot be resolved remotely, we will initiate the warranty service.

5. Shipping Costs for Warranty Service

  • First 30 Days: Cotlin covers all shipping costs for returning defective units and sending replacements.

  • Months 2-12: The customer is responsible for shipping the defective unit to our service center. Cotlin will cover the cost of shipping the repaired or replacement unit back to you.

Note: This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
